New User Interface
The layout and icons of the ADVIZOR Analyst applications have been significantly updated with a new, more modern look that matches ADVIZOR Server AE. Menus have been re-designed as "ribbons", with icons grouped to focus more on related tasks. The Getting Started experience has been improved with more up-to-date guidance and feedback opportunities. Zoom bars on charts are hidden when charts are not active to reduce visual clutter.
New Help System
Help has been moved to the Internet to consolidate it with the various other documentation sources. It has been indexed by user role as well as by function, with better integration of introductory videos, and better search capabilities.
New Map Chart
An enhanced map chart allows you to automatically drill into data for selected regions with just a click or two. Start with cities plotted on a U. S. map, for instance. Select Atlanta, click the drill-in button, and see the map instantly change to the Atlanta metropolitan map.
Improvements to Project Editing
Project editing has been significantly improved to support renaming tables and fields, and editing expressions and links, while ensuring project consistency. Table Copy links can now be created with customized naming of the destination fields. An ADV project can now be loaded and edited even if file data sources are not available.
Defects
Many software defects have been repaired, including:
Quality has been improved for PDF export of project pages.
Vertica ODBC driver is now supported.
Lockup with empty Heatmap avoided.
Blue blocks at corners of maps have been removed.
Geocode entries for places like St. Charles, IL and St. Petersburg, FL were added.
Summary Sheets from old projects no longer show enormous numbers for "Count".
Playback of bookmark including selection of data with apostrophe now works.
Lockup with UniqueSelected specification in Counts chart avoided.
Export from Data Sheet to file named with CSV (caps) extension now works.
Export from Data Sheet in 32-bit Analyst[/X] now works.
Summary Sheets configured with a Data Hierarchy are now searchable.
Improved performance for editing long expressions in the Expression Builder.
Data Source Editor enables Save immediately after Group Digits flag change.
No tooltips are available for the buttons in the chart-specific toolbars (at the bottom of each chart). Please refer to the Help page for the chart to see descriptions of the functionality.

The Windows Application Event Log in .evt format so that we get the detailed event descriptions
