Pie Chart Toolbar

The toolbar is located at the bottom of the chart. If it is not displayed, click the diagonal arrow in the lower-left corner of the chart.
The toolbar contains the following functions:

Description
Configure Data. Displays the Data Configuration window.
1. If more than one table was loaded using the ADVIZOR Data Wizard, use the pulldown list to select the applicable table. If a single table was loaded, it is the default.
2. Select a field from the Field pulldown list. This field will serve as the basis of the Count Per Field in the view.
3. Optionally, you can select a measure from the Measure pulldown list (this value is the Y axis in the Pie Chart). If you want to display the pie chart in 3-dimensional mode, place a checkmark in the Display in 3D checkbox.
4. Click OK. The pie chart displays.
Advanced Chart Properties The Property Explorer can be used to edit less frequently-used and/or advanced properties specific to an individual chart.
Exclude Unselected Items in this table first. Change Unselected rows in the table this chart is displaying to Excluded state, so they won't be visible in any chart. This change is then propagated to any other tables connected by selection links.
Exclude Selected Items in this table first. Change Selected rows in the table this chart is displaying to Excluded state, so they won't be visible in any chart. Any Unselected rows then become Selected. This change is then propagated to any other tables connected by selection links.
Display Unselected Data. You can choose whether or not to display unselected data during analysis. By default, unselected data is displayed. By selecting this button, unselected data is excluded automatically for each selection.
Edit Chart Titles... Use this function to change the content and font style of labels displayed in an active view.
In this dialog box, you can:
- Choose to display the Chart title text by placing a checkmark in the Display Title box.
- Add/edit the content of the Title, as well as change the font type, font style, font color, and point size of the Title text.
Add/edit the content of Axis text, as well as change the font type, font style, font color, and point size of the Axis text.
- Change the font type, font style, font color, and point size of the Label text.
Click OK to save your changes and close the dialog box.
Set Display Order. Click this button to choose the criteria for ordering the slices, starting from straight up and proceeding clockwise:
Original order - The order the categories appear in the input table.
Sort By Label - Slices are displayed in alphabetical order of their labels.
Sort By Size - Slices are displayed in decreasing order of net size.
Sort By Selected - Slices are displayed in decreasing order of selected amount.
Sort By Percent Selected - Slices are displayed in decreasing order of selected percentage.
Reverse Sort By Label - Slices are displayed in reverse alphabetical order of their labels.
Reverse Sort By Size - Slices are displayed in increasing order of net size.
Reverse Sort By Percent Selected - Slices are displayed in increasing order of selected percentage.
Home Position. Click the button to return data displayed in this chart to its default location.
Chart Help. Opens this page in your browser.
Drill Down. Moving from summarized to a more-detailed level of data is known as drilling down. This button is only available when the Pie Chart has been .
Drill Up. Moving from detailed-level to summary-level data is referred to as drilling up. It is useful when you want a simplified, "big picture" understanding of the information. This button is only available when the Pie Chart has been .
