Export Tables

This will export all fields in the Data Pool for a table. All rows or only selected rows may be exported.

1. Share Ribbon, select Export Tables .

2. The Export Data dialog displays. In the dialog box, select a table to export ( a checkmark should appear in the check box adjacent to the selection).

3. Select an export format.

4. Select how much data is to be exported (Selected or All).

5. Click OK.

6. Select a destination in which data is to be exported. Click the Browse button to display destination options. Click OK.

You can also export from any Data Sheet or Summary Sheet. In this case, only the fields included in the chart are exported. Only selected rows are exported. This is invoked from the "Export ..." button in the chart tool bar. You can choose two formats for the export:

1. .txt file: A text file with fields delimited by tabs.

2. .csv file: A text file with fields delimited by commas. This format can be read by most spreadsheet programs, such as Microsoft Excel.

After the export is complete, a dialog is displayed giving the name of the file written; clicking this brings up the file immediately.

Exporting from a Summary Sheet exports the summarized data displayed in the chart, not the underlying rows that were combined together to form the summary.
