Condition Data

ADVIZOR supports several ways of conditioning the raw data loaded into the project before being displayed on the charts and pages, such as calculating new fields, parsing data, and linking tables together. A useful view for these tasks is the Project Workshop. Data can be conditioned in several ways:

1. Expression Builder: The Expression Builder is used to create new fields defined by an expression or calculation.

2. Link Wizard: The ADVIZOR Link Wizard guides you through the process of linking two tables in the data pool or performing a link operation, such as a table copy or roll-up.

3. Date Formatter: The Date Formatter can be used to generate new date/time fields for a dataset without having to manually edit the data source.

4. Data Hierarchies: By configuring data hierarchies, you can set up drill up / drill down in Bar Charts, Pie Charts, and Summary Sheets.
