Project Variables
“Project Variables” allow authors to set up both static and dynamically calculated summary factors that can then be accessed for display in Text Charts, and used as goal lines on Bar and Line Charts.

Text Charts can now user Project Variables, by name, in formatted displays. Easy wizard driven setup. Hugely flexible formatting. Blends text and numbers. Numbers update based on user selections and filters.
As an example:
Variables and Constants, for goal lines on Bar Charts and Line Charts, can now be set in one place, and then used throughout an Advizor project. Chart displays have also been adjusted to always show the goal lines for context...even when the bars or lines are much smaller.
Note: User must be a project author using using either the Analyst or Analyst/x, in order to access and setup this capability.
Select the 'Customers' Demo Project, from the 'Demo Projects' list.

Select the 'Customers' Demo Project, from the 'Demo Projects' list.
Select the Variable to Modify or Delete.
Select the 'Modify' link or 'delete' link.
Select the 'Display Project Workshop' button.
Expand the 'Project' list.
Select the 'Variables' list header icon.
Select the 'Create' a new variable' link, from the 'Tasks' section.
Complete the applicable 'Variable Definition' fields and select 'OK'.
Note that the new Variable is added to the 'Variables' list.
